Papal infallibility is a dogma of the Catholic Church which states that, in virtue of the promise of Jesus to Peter, the Pope when he speaks ex cathedra is preserved from the possibility of error on doctrine "initially given to the apostolic Church and handed down in Scripture and tradition".[1] It does not mean that the pope cannot sin or otherwise err.

Pope Francis one of the most popular Popes.He has the common touch.He wants to welcome people into the church.He wants to allow blessing of same sex couples.Africa is the biggest source of future Christians and steadily increasing especially with the population rapidly expanding.A future African pope is both inevitable and welcome .USA and Europe numbers are dropping.They are insignificant for future recruits.
We have to respect the African Bishops who refuse to allow their priests to do the blessings or same sex couples.
HOWEVER THE AFRICAN BISHOPS HAVE ESPOUSED A PRINCIPAL.IN REALITY ITS LIP SERVICE.THEY DO NOT REALLY BELIEVE IN PAPAL INFALLIBILITY.
