After All We Can Do

What is required for Mormons to receive saving grace?

The Book of Mormon makes it clear that Mormons only receive grace after they do all they can do.
In the Book of 2 Nephi 25:23 it says: (emphasis added)
"... it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do."

The LDS Church reinforces this in the 3rd Article of Faith which reads: (emphasis added)
"all mankind may be saved, by obedience"

And of course Moroni 10:32 is the IF...THEN statement for grace: (emphasis added)
"... if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you"

The LDS published "Bible Dictionary" defines grace as: (emphasis added)
"grace is an enabling power that allows men and women to lay hold on eternal life and exaltation after they have expended their own best efforts."

Have you done all that you can do? Have you denied yourself all ungodliness? Are you obedient? Have you expended your best effort?

Here is a comprehensive list of Mormon rules, laws, suggestions, and other instructions to show just how much is needed to complete ALL you can do.

I`m not here to judge what a Mormon does. The LDS have rules which are difficult to follow but rules are rules. If you don`t like the LDS rules then leave the organization or if you are not yet a member then don`t join. I like the Mormons in pairs because they are very nice, helpful, kind & humble. What`s the the use of formulating simple rules if you yourself don`t abide by it. So, formulate rules similar to what the LDS did. At least you have the reason why you should be excused if you can`t observe & follow it.
