After more than one decade in RF, it is time to say goodbye from your brother “Shia Islam”!

After more than one decade of active participation here in RF, it is time to say goodbye to you all.

I joined RF after moving to the UK to do my Higher Education.

I stayed in the UK for many years.

I am from the small Island country of Bahrain in the Arabian Gulf, which known outside the Arab world generally as the Persian Gulf.

The majority of the population of Bahrain are Shiites, but the rulers are Sunnis.

I was raised as a religious Shia person where I used to be engaged in religious debates with the Sunnis.

When I first landed in the UK I was supposing that I was landing in a Christian country, however I found that strong believers in In God in the UK are but a small percentage.

You rarely find strong young believers.

In the UK I turned form debating the Sunnis to debating the Christians and the non-believers.

And ultimately, I landed here in RF where I continued my debates :)

You can refer to my old posts.

Later on, I decided to become a Shia scholar, where I finished a Bachelor degree in Shia Islamic Law.

I also won a generous early retirement package from my work.

However, I found that I need to work for few more years before being able to fully dedicate myself to religion while living on my pension.

I am currently living in a calm area of the Island of Bahrain.

I hope in the future I will establish my own YouTube channel.

I used to be active in publishing in Twitter and YouTube in addition to my personal website.

My personal contributions are in writing.

However I am planning to start appearing in video recordings in the future.

Lately my contributions became mainly in Arabic.

Currently I am active only in my public Facebook page.

I was the first main Shia member in RF.

Currently we have few Shia Members here.

My Advice to them is to stay here to inform people about Shia Islam. There is a need for at least one active Shia member, so the last one should not leave before finding a successor

I also advise to non-Shia members to take into account that there is a sect in Islam that is called the Shia Sect. So whenever you are told about an Islamic belief you need to search whether it is a common Islamic belief or it is a belief of the Sunni sect which tends to talk in the name of Islam just because they are the majority, while any logical person knows that the majority are not always in the right side.

Before concluding, I would like to thank you all for your contributions in this forum which is a great place for anyone who seeks to know about the different religions and belief systems. Indeed people of all beliefs need to know what other people believe.

I would also like to apologize for anyone whom I have treated inappropriately or wrongly in my participations here in the RF, whether they are still here or not, and for any word that I have used while there was a better word that should have been used, since the Quran says:

“Tell My servants, (O Muhammad), to say always that which is best. Verily it is Satan who sows discord among people. Satan indeed is an open enemy to mankind.” Quran (17:53)

My best wishes to you all

Ma'a salaama.

And give my love to the Gulf. I spent several mostly happy years in the UAE, in the 1980s.

Thank you for your heartfelt goodbye post. You are a warm, and kind Muslim, and I remember you for that.

You have been very friendly (and patient:)) in your replies to me when I asked about Islam in a few posts. My Master also strongly advises us to always be friendly, saying "you cannot always oblige, but you can always speak obligingly". I was able to practise this on RF, and might have unknowingly messed up, in that case I also apologize to you. Anyway, I remember you as very friendly. And you did give me some good advices, like the verse you mentioned "to say always that which is best".

Wow, 10 years, that's quite a long time. When I started, I decided to stay at least 3 years, which runs out in 17 days:cool:". So, I almost fulfilled my time. And God "inside" has been hinting quite a few times recently "still not posted enough" to me, so maybe I am destined to follow your decision quite soon, but not all the way to Bahrain, though I love the warm wetter much better than the cold wetter in Holland

Peace be unto you
