In my understanding alchemy as dicipline and alchemy doctrines has authors from old testament exegeticians. Modern science are holding a huge gap of the art of smithery and handycraftery. It do simple not tell the truth and do not explain the Authorative practicion of metallurgy. So in my experience, the modern school adress these preist doctrines that usually ockult and new ager try to referens to. Even though most preist reject wiccas and ockult the later adress the former.
