All Purpose Thread

I want to create this all purpose thread to try and maintain my sanity. I have tried to go through the other threads and it drives me crazy.....it is hard to keep up with you all!!!

The idea of this thread is to touch on a subject....discuss it until it is done....not touch it again.....next subject. If a subject is dead....please don't discuss again.

I just want to look at one thread. I feel like i am going crazy looking at all of them all day long.

Any ideas on first topic?

Since it's your idea what would YOU like to discuss? What are interests that you would like input on...you start it we'll jump in...Now do we get to comment just once or can we continue to debate this topic...let me know your rules and we'll get rolling.:)

I want to discuss something that has been bothering me lately. Have you noticed that it seems that every company out there is trying to mislead you to spend more money with them?

I go to the chiropractor, he tells me I need to go 100 times to get my back fixed, 50 before he can get rid of my pain. I am paying out of pocket....so $100 a visit tends to get costly. I tell him that I want to get rid of the pain....he tells me that I should go to a Neurologist...something he claims will cost thousands....he is supposedly doing me a favor. You go to the mechanic, somehow your car is always in need of repairs, and costly ones.

I am very fortunate. I can deal with pain, I can deal with Salesmen, as I am one. The best way to get people to lower prices, is to convince yourself that you don't need something, even though you do. I expect to bargain when I go to the swapmeet, not when i go to the doctor, or the mechanic.

So you want to get down to the root of vegetarianism? Are you sure you don't want to leaf it alone and see if it will sprout elseshere?

Actually, I am intrigued by vegetarianism. I don't know how to try it, but would like to.

Huajiro, you are right. Of course companies are forcing you to spend money. They don't care how they do it, as long as they support their own cause ;)
