He has made night and day subservient to you, and the sun and moon and stars, all subject to His command. There is certainly Signs in that for people who pay heed. (Surat an-Nahl: 12)
37.And from among His Signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Prostrate not to the sun nor to the moon, but prostrate to Allâh Who created them, if you (really) worship Him. SURA OF FUSSILET
33.And He it is Who has created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon, each in an orbit floating SURA OF ENBIYA

SO YOU CAN EASILY SEE THIS IS ONLY LIE OF EVANGELICS.

well, I have never heard such a nonsense thing in my life. It was a great slandering once upon time:) no need to argue since there is no base for this suggestion, even the owners of this idea understood that they cannot be succesful with these fictitious opinions. Islam is in rising and in reformation, making a great contrast to those who want to blacken it. This is quite obvious. And easy my friend, calm. No need to defend things which are not asked or claimed any more. But maybe people ask after now, I had better prepare my answer:) in the case that it is asked.
Here discussions are more professional, and generally don't base on futile assumptions.:)

Actually the claim was originally made by scholars regarding Allah in pre-Islamic times. In all honesty I just skipped over it so I cannot comment on the evidence. However, I believe it had to do with the Moon sign supposedly being associated to Allah in Pre-Islamic days.

Unfortunately some Christian proselytizer grabbed on to the scholars statements and applied them to Allah after Islam. That allegation is patent non-sense

The kind of person who says that Allah is the moon god is the same kind of person who says that Catholics worship Semiramis. It's impossible to reason with people like that.

This stupid claim about pagan moon gods was a freqwuent topic of discussion on the AOL Life and Spirituality chat rooms. They used to come to the Baha`i Room and scream at Muslims because they'd get bumped out of the Islamic rooms.

Its a frequent canard and if it is being used generally it belongs in general discussion. If the Islamic members want to look at it particularly as an "Apologetics" issue they can certainly do so, but let them do it.

Why Mumble when you can shout? Most People never REALLY want truth, it's too much for us.
