To Muslims, Allah is the true God. Is he really the true God? Give me a plain, simple, and logical answer without referring to any holy scripture how a god can be considered the true God.

As I understand it, Allah is a word understood by ancient peoples to mean "the highest." It's a title designed to avoid semantics with regard to the Most Holy.

I also understand that the Koran affirms the writings attributed to Moses, while it's adherents largely reject Jewish and Christian understandings of what those books portend. That entire argument's pretty complicated, all round. A "chain-of-evidence" argument about which version of those five books is valid would be unpersuasive to any who disagree, but the sense of those five books makes The Name perfectly clear: the tetragrammaton, YHWH/YHVH.

Any
representation of The Name not written in Paleo is a liberty. The mother of alphabets is a language of pure consonants. It whispers symbolism; and its symbolism is based upon the organization of the human organism. It's therefore understood that the Kingdom of Names is within you.

As for speaking out loud? I've got no problem with the title, Allah.

Servant Jesus PBUH worshipped his Lord and call his Lord " Allaha" in aramaic.

Aramaic: Allaha
Arabic:Allah

I leave it to you to look if u can find similarity between Allaha and Allah.

Peace be on you.
A god can be a true God if:
1-He is One and have no associate.
2-He is rightful deity.
3-He posses all good attributes.
4-He does not have any weakness.
5-He is source of all blessings.

Allah has all these criteria. The full manifestation of God is Allah.

Aramaic and Arabic are languages that have taken different paths. We discuss them within the path taken by English, a patchwork of many languages.

Concepts of The Holy have a way of leaking out of words, and rightly so.

I just want to know why polytheistic gods can't be classed as true gods, even if they have pretty much all the attributes listed to qualify as a god. What if, out of a whole pantheon, one of the gods was all-good, all-loving, gave everyone the blessings and so on? Just seems absurd to me that monotheism is touted always as the 'right' theism.
And you are a strong christian with doubts like this? Himmmmmm I dunno

Uh. I'm not a Christian. Also, I'll be deleting my posts because I've just realised that this is the Islam DIR, and I advise you the same.

The word appropriately translated as "One" with reference to G_d is AChD, in Paleo. This word can also be understood to indicate the "the focus (A) that identifies (Ch) the Door."

Numbers are about limits. G_d created limits. They exist, to all appearances.

The answer is prophesy. The true God can prophesy. That means He is omniscient, aside from being omnipotent and being omnipresent. He knows the past and He knows the future. Will you worhip a god who cannot tell you the past and the future?

The true God must have at least these three attributes:
1. Omnipotence – having all power; almighty; complete power; unlimited power
2. Omnipresence – presence everywhere at the same time
3. Omniscience – knowledge of everything; complete or infinite knowledge including what happened in the past and what will happen in the future.

Which of the 99 names of Allah satisfy the attributes? Is there any that satisfy number 3?

Remember that if you were to worship a god, be sure that He is the true God.
