Am I alone in not believing anything

Am I alone in not believing anything. These are the things I don't believe in.

1. Religion - There are hundreds of them even if some of them are much bigger than others. All of them are stating different things and different holy figures. (Nedless to say that all of them think that their own religion is the "correct one").

2. Mediums - Even a lot of non religious people believe in this. What I mean by a medium are people that can contact the dead etc.

3. Spirits of any sort - things like a house could be haunted etc.

4. Fortune tellers - looking into the future

5. Witches and other ghosts

Am I alone in thinking all of the above are made up horse **** :D

Friend john,

Am I alone in not believing anything

Am with you.
cause BELIEF* itself is only a THOUGHT and the experience of all these is just that THOUGH away meaning when the mind that thinks is transcendent or STILLED the TRUTH gets revealed which is what all paths/ways/religion points towards.
Are you ready for it??

Are you really that isolated in the world? most of the people I know don't believe in any of these categories.

1. Religion - There are hundreds of them even if some of them are much bigger than others. All of them are stating different things and different holy figures.
People don't believe 'in' religion, they are part of religion.

2. Mediums - Even a lot of non religious people believe in this. What I mean by a medium are people that can contact the dead etc.
I believe most major religions frown on mediums.

3. Spirits of any sort - things like a house could be haunted etc.
Do you really not know people who do not believe in spirits?
4. Fortune tellers - looking into the future
Horoscopes are fun, and that is as far as many people go. Not many people cut the internal organs of a mountain goat in order to divine the future.

5. Witches and other ghosts
Witches are ghosts?

If you live in a hut in the Altai mountains on the Mongolian borders. If you live in general society as the rest of us most people are sceptical by default.

Not exactly on topic, but why does it matter to you? I am starting to wonder why everyone seems to want others to share their beliefs. Why our emotions respond strongly when others respond to our beliefs. Why do we have to put down beliefs that aren't like ours?

Back on topic. Personally I believe anything and everything is possible but no I have no positive experience with anything of the above, but my life is very limited and extremely short.

Religion - There are hundreds of them even if some of them are much bigger than others. All of them are stating different things and different holy figures.

And what you're overlooking is that there are religions--including mine--that assert these are all true and part of an overall constructive pattern.

Peace, :)

Yes, you're alone. You're the only person in the entire world who sees that everyone who dares disagree with you is an idiot. We should put you in charge, then maybe some of your blinding intelligence would trickle down to us mere mortals.

Certainly not. Many people don't believe in any of those, but I'm not one of them. I'm a theist.

1. Religion - There are hundreds of them even if some of them are much bigger than others. All of them are stating different things and different holy figures.
But the God concept by itself is common to all of them. I don't necessarily condemn other religions.

2. Mediums - Even a lot of non religious people believe in this. What I mean by a medium are people that can contact the dead etc.

3. Spirits of any sort - things like a house could be haunted etc.
I'm skeptical about spirits. I believe we have souls that live on when we die, but I don't think they dwell the Earth any more.

4. Fortune tellers - looking into the future
I don't believe in fate, but in free will. So no.

5. Witches and other ghosts
I don't think magic is for real.

No, I don't believe in the various religions created by other human animals. I've found much better ways to waste my time.

2. Mediums - Even a lot of non religious people believe in this. What I mean by a medium are people that can contact the dead etc.
Ditto. Though, I've always wondered why we never hear from "Extra Larges" or "Petites" and only "mediums".

3. Spirits of any sort - things like a house could be haunted etc.
I do believe in projection, but "ghosts"... um, no.

4. Fortune tellers - looking into the future
As Dan said, Horoscopes are fun but not too many actually take them seriously.

5. Witches and other ghosts
...and other ghosties? Um, no, I don't believe in witchcraft either, though I do recognize the effects of the power of suggestion, especially when done in a highly ritualized format. Tip: These suggestions only work on the "believer".

Not at all, though it may be quite possible that you don't get out much, otherwise you wouldn't have had to ask.

Well that was certainly a snappy comeback.

All of those things you posted are non-sense, but do you believe you exist? If your answer is yes, then you do believe something.

Unfortunately you are not along; I wish you are dough. Your are doing good in not believing in mediums, fortune tellers, witches and so on, but religion is the only true thing, now is normal to say “there are hundreds of them” because there are many, but to know which one is the true religion, you don’t have to study a denomination, you need to study the word of God (The Bible); Then you will find the true religion, the true God, the true love, the true way to happiness, peace, joy.
I don’t think that you are here for accident, I think the Holy Spirit of God guide you here.
Like I said, I wish I can say that you are alone, but not. You see, to be alone is to be closer to God.
We cannot measure right and wrong by our feeling or by what the majority are doing! We need something from outside ourselves to tell us where the truth lies. Our impulses may be just as real as it can be. but they could also be just as misleading. Our numerous friends may be most respectable and religious but without they even knowing, they also could be linked to the same false guidance system, cleverly sabotaged by the enemy.
There is a verse in the Bible that it says:
“There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Prov. 14:12.
