That was a way to phrase it to emphasize that one's own existence is quite a certain thing. I was pointing at Descartes who held it was an absolute certainty.So, you don't believe you exist? Because belief and knowledge are different things, you can believe you exist while also knowing you do, but I don't think you could know that to an absolute certainty.
Yes, somebody else already said that knowledge is "sufficiently certain belief". In this sense, the exitence of oneself could be both knowledge and a belief. And in this sense, yes, I would both believe and know I exist.
I don't claim absolute anything, though. However, absolute or not, the certainty of one's existence is the highest achievable, in my opinion.
