Am I that bad?

Im a screwed up newbie, who keeps hating religion as far I can. you should read my journal...ill give you the link later.
Am I such a bad person for feeling nasty towards God?
I feel as if i want to accept his existence...but then again I dont. My beliefs are controversial, im a pro-abortion and pro-gay marriage person. But please, rather then question that talk about it in PM to me.
I hope you can accept me here.

Well, first of all, welcome to the forum!

Secondly, your profile says you are Atheist, meaning you don't believe there is a God, so how can you have nasty feelings towards something that doesn't exist?

Thirdly, we have people of all different beliefs, philosophies and ideas, and we accept them all. You are certainly welcome here. Whatever questions you have, please feel free to ask them.

Just wanted to add, we're not here to tell you what to believe or which religion is correct. That is not the focus of this forum. However we do try our best to answer questions and debate about anything that has to do with religion and the spiritual world.

lol. dont worry, im pro gay and kinda pro abortion. people should do what they want to do. we cannot stop that no matter what. might as well make it legal and safer.

im a devout hindu. you can still be spiritual and believe in the God yet not believe in christian dogma. yes, im living proof of that. lol.

Welcome to the forum! As you'll quite quickly see, there are as many different views about religion as there are people on this site. (At *least* that many, hehee!) And one thing I've learned is that you can dislike (or hate) religion and love spirituality. Or both, for that matter.

I don't know about the other members of the forum, but I've been finding that discussing both religion and spirituality with a group of open-minded and caring people has actually helped restore my faith, not only in the religions I'd become frustrated with, but also with human beings in general.
