No it shouldn't.
It is a challenge. Money is the first tool that is supposed to help with that, as opposed to barter. If people did not have money and banks there would be a lot more inequity. Currently the money is not flowing like it should, and so the challenge is to get it flowing. That means two things: getting people to work and getting people to spend. If you can get people working and spending you've got flow. There are some things that get in the way of this.
