As Islam by nature discriminates against people based on their religion (would anybody contest that?), it takes strange reasoning/twisting to see returning the favor as somehow worse.

Both believers and non-believers can be discriminating based on the believers' religion/s. Considering one "because of religion" and the other "because of hate, ignorance, etc." - is sloppy.

It's stupid if consider that Islam prohibit to Muslimah to marry non-Muslim man and allow to Muslim men to marry Christian or Jewish women as hypocritical matter.

It's not Islam problem that Christianity allowed to non-Christians to marry Christians women.

also Judiasm forbid to Jewish women to marry non-Jews men, so most Jews don't.
