American Girl Wants to Marry MUSLIM Man, People's Reactions

So we had different opinions all the line, may all time :)

Certainly!

But in one final attempt to get you to understand the point: with the OP you made it clear you were against religious discrimination. Flankerl pointed out your discrimination against non-Muslims by way of a question. This revealed your double standards - i.e. religious discrimination is OK if you base it in Islamic doctrine.

What we disagree on is whether that's acceptable. I personally think a Muslim has no call to complain about discrimination against Muslims if they're perpetrating it themselves. You think it's OK for a Muslim to discriminate against a non-Muslim, but not the other way round.

I had no problem with religious discrimination which not based on hate and racist ..etc

I am against religious discrimination based on hate and generalizing (terrorists).

Is that clear?

Flankerl is Jewish woman , in Judiasm the Jewish women prohibit to marry non-Jews , what you think about this ?

I feel like you NEVER would not understand me

On the former: that’s clear, but I just personally think any religious discrimination is bad.

As for Judaism and Jewish women marrying non-Jews, I've only ever heard that from you here. So I don't know if it's true or, if it is true, whether it's universal. I strongly doubt Liberal, Reform, Reconstructionist, Humanistic and even many forms of Conservative Judaism lay any such restrictions. However I think just the same of the idea, if it is true, as that of Muslims doing the same. But if Flankerl does uphold that, it still doesn't make her hypocritical because she wasn't here opposing religious discrimination as you were.

Going increasingly off-topic, but perhaps some Jewish members might like to comment on the stances of different forms of Judaism on this. Stock character: @Tumah?

Also, I didn't understand the last sentence. Are you saying I would never understand you, or never misunderstand you?

That's known , may not all Jews follow it , but I guess most of them.

Who told you that she agree that non-Jew men marry to Jewish women ,maybe she with accept the teaching of Torah (Deut. 7:3): "You shall not marry them (the gentiles) ?
it's seem,we on disagreement on everything .

Well she never said either way. Either way, to me both faiths, and all faiths, are to be held to the same standards. So I don't see the importance of the fact it was a Jew who asked you this.

EDIT: Nevertheless it's worth noting 47% of American marriages including Jews from '96 to 2001 were between a Jewish and non-Jewish person.

If some Jews don't practice , or don't agree with their religion laws , or find a way to edit the rules , that not my problem.

What in the.. how did I get in here?
I assume the question is if we are allowed to marry outside the religion. So no, we are not. Intermarriage is one of the prohibited marriages and it applies to both men and women.

Though, to be fair, anyone who marries outside the religion doesn't need to fear for their lives.

No, she mocked you specifically for showing yourself to be against the prejudices of those condemning intermarriage and then professing beliefs otherwise.
Stop please speak instead of her , let her speak for her self.

He just keeps on digging. You want to tell him to stop because of the Balrog in the deep but at the same time you want to see the Balrog.
