Hybrid my butt. Name every Republican who voted for Trump who wants him taking advice from Bill Clinton. He just sold the American right a bill of goods.

The funny thing is, if Trump felt he had a better shot at winning the Democratic ticket, I'm sure that he would have tried there too.

The guy has changed his party affiliation so many times. Why is this a surprise?

I'm not at all surprised at Trump's becoming more assimilated.
Not saying it's good or bad....just expected.
Too early for me to judge.

Not sure how saying he'll protecting Obamacare makes him a Democrat since what it currently is is nowhere near what Obama had in mind and is the product of intense Republican obstructionism in Congress.

Or, he realizes the current President and cronies are radical leftist nutcases and doesn't want them to panic/screw everything up before he gets in. I'd do exactly what he's doing, calm their fears and when I run the show do exactly what I promised.

Obama gets credit when it's praised,
& the Pubs get blame when it fails.
I see a pattern here.

Since it was a Republican-controlled Congress blocking just about everything Obama did that has led us to this point, who do you think should be blamed? Sometimes it's actually okay to say the blame falls squarely with one party, you know ;)

Misleading title. This is what Trump actually said:

Obamacare:
Keep the pre-existing coverage clause
Allow children living with their parents to stay on extended coverage

This is just smart and benefits a lot of people.

Obama:
Would not rule out calling him for advice.

Hillary and Bill Clinton:
Hillary called and said "Congratulations, Donald, well done."
She is very strong and very smart.
Would not rule out calling Bill for advice.

Not burning bridges of experience.

In no way is he "going Democrat." He is just being smart and keeping options open, because he wants what he thinks is best for America. Hell, if anything he is being presidential.

That's the reason why he won.

He's not in it totally for Democrats or Republicans.

He's in it for the country and its own people.

Make America great again.

Trump has NOTHING to gain from being POUTS except perhaps
the greatest victory an American can achieve.
He's wealthy beyond my imagination.
He has wonderful kids and an intelligent, beautiful, wife.
Wonder if the naysayers and critics have considered that he honestly
WANTS to do a great job making America great again?
Perhaps making our Country great IS his motive.
Consider that please.
O.K. so there might be a bit of ego involvement but I can't condemn anyone
for desiring to be well regarded.
I get that. Being well regarded is a desirable human trait.
I was 48 and 100% disabled.
I could have sat on my phatt behind, crying in my beer, and took my piddling
disability and "woe is me" into oblivion.
I didn't.
I started college at age 48, at 53 had two degrees, got a job in supervision
at General Motors and enjoy TWO pensions.
I'm now 70 and I ain't dun yet!
Kent State main branch is 10 minutes away and I can audit classes for FREE.
I get NO credits but don't need 'em as I mentioned I have two degrees now.
Learning for the sake of learning is more than enough reward.
Old, sick, crippled I am.
Stupid and lazy I ain't!
Besides. There might be some hot young chicks there that like older
men.:p:p
Darned if I know what I'd do with 'em at my age but it's a nice thought.:D

Trump apparently has his own mind and makes his own decisions. That he is not subservient and mindlessly compliant to the whims of some "party", is something I perceive as awesome.
no. it's deeply more frightening that this. not that his followers will see it.
