he'll have to do it again to prove himself, as Djokovic was slightly off form, as were a few other players, but it's still a great achievement.

wonder what his next game will be?

That would be his third Grand slam if you included his Olympic singles gold. where he beat Federer in straight sets in the final, and Djokovic in the semi final

He also beat Djokovic in the final pf the US open grand slam.
In meetings with Djokovic it is Murray 8 Djokovic 11 with the recent ones in Murray's favour.

This win was no flash in the pan...........

There are also some other very good players out there who will share in the future grand slams.

Let's see how he shapes up next year - that will prove his greatness.

I still don't think he could beat the likes of, in-form, Roger and Raphael on grass, but even so, those two are probably 'all time greats'.

He beat Roger on grass at wimbledon for the Olympic title in straight sets.
he leads 11to 9 againts Roger.
Aginst Raphael he is behind 13 to 5 however Nadal has seen his best days.

ok fair enough, but when was the Olympics?

last year, can't remember? - anyway, I would conjecture that perhaps Roger is also past his best, and has been for a couple of years or so.

Basically, I still need Andy to prove his best, beyond a doubt, but what he has done already is fantastic.

By the way, who do you reckon is better on grass (on their top form), Murray or Henman?

The olympics was summer last year.

Murray is a level above Henman ever was, in skill, strength and detmination.

Nadal will probably never fully recover from his knee weakness. Federer is just sufferering from anno domini

If Scotland votes yes next year, does the rest of the UK still get to count this one?
