Could demons or angels be considered alien?

Something foreign to the earth?

That's interesting. I would have said the opposite. Angels and demons are bound to the earth. They're part of an integrated system which includes the earth.

Erich von Däniken thinks the gods were aliens.

If someone had shown up 2000 years ago with a helicopter, an assault rifle, and an iPad, I'd expect they'd be considered a god by most. It didn't take much. Heck, forget the helicopter; old stories and family tradition seems to have been good enough for belief.

I don't think even aliens are really aliens from another solar system, they're from
this solar system but in a parallel multiverse and learned how to shift between.

But demons and angels are from another plane(s) of existence altogether.

Inasmuch as dæmons and angels were invented by terrestrial primates, I'd say they qualified as domestic.
