Anglicanism/Episcopalianism Lessons

I would like to learn from someone knoedgeable about Anglicanism and Episcopalianism.

Why?

What do you think it might offer you that other Christian denominations can not. ?

Few Anglicans and Episcopalians know much about the details of their own church, nor do they wish to. Anglicanism is a very broad church that draws itself together in its worship.
As a church, it is so diverse that it would be difficult for an outsider to recognise it as the same church if they were to attend one that was Anglo Catholic and one that was low church or indeed one that was charismatic evangelical.

It is one of the few churches that any one can enter and take part in worship. To take communion one must have been baptised in the name of the Trinity by a recognised Christian Church.

Apart from that, you can join in and learn as you go along. To become a member of the Church requires some formalities, only those that have not been christened in the name of the Trinity would need to be christened. It is not sufficient to have been baptised in Jesus name, as is the custom with some protestant churches.

There are great similarities with Catholic services, and some with Methodists and other old protestant churches. However it would be a mistake to believe that the fundamental beliefs always followed the apparent similarities.
