Saying homosexuals and women do not deserve civil rights is not entertaining. My girlfriend and I read chunks of Godless in a bookshop about five years ago. We were in stitches. Literally there were tears of laughter.

If it isn't satire, it's a level of madness indistinguishable from it. Either way I do find it entertaining. And it hurts the right by popularising the proper fruitbat mental stuff they probably wouldn't want said in public.

Perhaps you should look up the KKK, Jim Crow laws, the socioeconomic realities faced by many non-whites, the years of black people being murdered (especially by cops) and the murderer being acquitted, Leonard Paltier, and in America it's legal to be a Nazi. By generous, it is meant the white majority has been very kind towards the non-white minority (but even white minorities, such as the Irish, have been severely mistreated) and have readily given them ample opportunities, resources, and a helping hand whenever they need it. Now, while many white people don't get hung up on skin color and have helped non-whites, many white people see only skin color and America's history is littered with racial tensions and injustices. It use to be illegal for a black person to even drink from the same water fountain as a white person, and an American Senator, Harry Ansligner, was so openly racist he declared "[marijuana] makes darkies think they are as good as white folk."
