Another farewell thread. Maybe I’ll be back. But I’m taking longer than a break. But maybe I’ll be back never say never ya know. But I’m logging off and making this thread for good reasons.

I am making this thread to say if you want to keep in touch with me to just chat or whatever, message me on this site and we can exchange numbers, emails, or discords, whichever works. I’ve stuck around this site because I’ve made friends, but I can’t let that keep me here if this site is not an environment that will help me grow.

I doomscrolling too much on this site. I used to get something out of this site. Insightful religious discussion. But that is gone. This site is a political forum now. I’ve done my part in making it political “an anarchist” so sorry. My excuse is that anarchism is tied to my spiritual and metaphysical beliefs long story short.

I can be growing my spirituality instead of doomscrolling this site. This site isn’t doing me any good in growing my knowledge. It used to… such a shame.

Wah wah and bye bye. I’ll stay logged in for a little while longer and get contact information from those who want to stay in touch!

I have taken long breaks before. I think with my OCD/autism I just found out I have, I am understanding that routines and habits are a thing of mine? Such as logging in and bantering on this site… but I’ve determined to taken breaks before and after a week or two of not posting I pick up new habits and it’s easy to resist the urge to log in till it no longer comes.

I’m optimistic I won’t log in again (for a while at least) is what I’m saying haha

RF served its purpose for you it seems. I've seen that happen to many, and it's good.

I was hooked for ca. 3 à 4 years, and now I come occasionally. I've learned many useful things, for which I'm grateful

My Guru told us:
* You can experience so many things in this life ... just try out everything you want ... once
* If you learned to walk, throw the crutch away
* Final step in Spirituality = Kill the Guru ™

™) Not literally of course. But when ready, the Guru is not needed anymore. You can visit, but no more need

An option....if you can resist temptation to doomscroll,
is to dwell in the joke forum, & other safe ones.

I was really hoping your thread Useful&Practical... was going to take off and fly. That was such a great idea. Do drop back in around Christmastime or a little after. That's oftentimes when things crank back up again.

You will probably be back soon, but until then have fun :)

With the US election and what going on in the world, it might seem like a lot of threads are about political stuff.

But if anything it is a General topic forum :)

New religious threads - 45 threads and 16.1k messages
New political threads - 60 threads and 2.8k messages
New general threads - 65 threads and 360.6k messages

I do enjoy talking about different things, there are other interesting topics other than religion. :D
