This group says 1 out of 6. There was a time that our numbers were a lot lower. This was due to women not reporting it. In more closed cultures the rapes are not reported. So in many places around the world their are just no way of telling how high the numbers are.

I am not making excuses. We do have a culture that engages in violence against women. 1 out of 6 is a very sad statistic.

It also should be noted that if a wife says no to her husband and he dose it anyway this is seen as a sexual assault. (as it should be) So In this way our numbers are high. But other countries have no idea how much violence against women happens behind closed doors.

Storm, not necessarily every post we make is going to have a direct link with rape, it's speaking about the morals of the West in general. Maro asked you a question about morality and you keep evading it.

Father Heathen disappeared after he was encountered with real facts and Storm doesn't want to answer Maro's question that would be helpful to clarify a position that seems contradictory. Consenting adults should be free to do whatever they want as long as they are not harming anybody yet they shouldn't be tolerated to have sex at a school in front of the children (and here they are not harming anybody, are they?).

so you are indeed being forced to watch homosexuals have sex? or are you choosing to watch?

posts such as these, and others in this thread & others goes to show how much the majority muslims on RF truly care about how much non-muslims respect or tolerate their religion. i will not tolerate intolerance. if representations of islam such as these (that being an irrational fear & hatred of homosexuals), is at all representative of islam (and it certainly seems to be), then i see no reason why i should be expected to either respect or tolerate their religion. and, in as far as i can tell, the majority of muslim members on RF seem to want it that way.

And you don't think that maybe........ the children would be harmed by seeing that? I don't understand how that question has a point?
