Antisemitic incidents at record highs in America according to the Anti Defamation League.

oldbadger

Skanky Old Mongrel!

Of course most occurring in the People's Republic of New York and the People's Republic of California.

Rampant Antisemitism is also rotting US colleges that makes one wonder if certain students are even interested in their education more then engaging in their antisemitic activism.

Please give a couple of clear examples of the kind of rampant anti-Semitmic incidents that are happening in New York.

With a big percentage of the populace being religious bigots (Christian nationalists, who have no respect for other religions), and an even bigger part embracing fascism, it's no wonder that the old bogeyman gets revived. Both these groups have a long history of anti-Semitism.

The history of Ben Shapiro's relationship with the right kind of says it all, really.

Fifteen years ago:
Ben:
Boy, I sure am excited to play a big role in this right-wing ideological movement that espouses traditional Christian values, and showing people that Jews like myself are welcome within such ideologies not only as contributors but as actual leaders of the movement.

Fifteen years later:
Ben:
Why am I surrounded by literal Nazis all of a sudden?? Where did they all come from??

Christian nationalists here appear to be
very pro Israel, & anti Palestinian.

They're not actually pro Israel, the just can't wait for the end of the world and their imagined reward.
The ones I know are very pro-Israel & very anti-Islam.
Of those, I haven't personally known any express the
desire to hasten Armageddon.

1. As I said recently in another thread, there is a difference between Jews and Israel.
2. Just wait a few more years. When they have successfully installed laws that keep Satanists and Atheists working in schools, Muslim and Jews will be next.

This is true.
However, we must counter common claims that Israel
is a secular state with equal justice for all.

Clarify your meaning?

Clarify your meaning?
Multiple states want schools to hire chaplains instead of social workers and counsellors. Their, sometimes even stated, goal is to get Christianity back into schools, and they have plans and provisions to exclude non-religious chaplains, and maybe even non-Christian chaplains.

It Aint Necessarily So

Why dont you call the articles authors instead?
Why should he? You made the claim. You wrote, "Rampant Antisemitism is also rotting US colleges." If you aren't willing to support that, then the discussion is over and your claim (opinion) can be disregarded.

I would expect antisemitism to be concentrated in the low information MAGA rednecks ("You will not replace us"), and they dominate in red states.

I'm guessing that you left out a word here such as "keep Satanists and Atheists FROM working in schools"

I hadn't read that anywhere before. What a disgusting attack on the Constitution and Americanism. I found a link: https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2024/03/22/chaplains-public-schools-culture-wars/

Still, even if they succeed, I think the die is cast for the continued waning of the American church's cultural hegemony. The Supremes can continue removing freedoms, but the people seem to recognize increasingly that religions like that one are not our friends. They are sources of bigotry, authoritarianism, and anti-intellectualism, and nobody will be fooled by purpose in putting chaplains in schools, which is to get access to young minds not being taught religion in churches or by their parents. Even if they were to succeed, moms and dads not into religious indoctrination of their children will suddenly be teaching junior about religion, but not the way the church would like them to.

And you are correct about unintended consequences. They may end up with Satanic chaplains. Here the Christian theocrats are trying to appropriate tax dollars to promote their religion, but got this as well: Lawmakers Object To Funding Islamic School, But Offer Vouchers To Christian Schools

I smell a 1st Amendment violation.
