Good Friday is when Christ suffered for our sins through volunteering his life for ours (cruxified) by the Roman Empire.
It is the new passover. Christ, the lamb, was slaughter to free us from our sins through his blood.
It is terrible that it happened, but G*d came to us so man/woman/child can become close to him through the bridge Jesus created for all of us.
It's all about Jesus conquering death by His death, about Jesus reconciling God and man, about Jesus' loving us so much as to die for us, staying true to His words: "There is no greater love than this: To lay down one's life for one's friends." By His death, He put away our sin and the alienation between us and God that our sin caused. And by sharing in our death, Jesus redeemed all parts of our humanity and our human experience, having overcome all temptation and sin.give us the scoop.
