I just watched the story on CNN about this. Gosh Pelosi is young and Pelosi is 79 for gosh sakes! Her time is about up, no matter who agrees with her.

I think the younger Democrats are pushing out the old guard. There is something to be said for experience that younger folks tend to see as outdated though.
The old guard lost the POTUS so maybe time to change the linen. We'll see how it goes, a new face for Democrats. I wonder if Biden/Sanders has any chance. Maybe too old.

I don't know. I keep thinking about a History Prof. saying that countries only last so long... According to that, America is out of time, or has 100 years if we are "lucky".

You're right - US Congress the short term side. They seek reelection every 2 years.
I think the old guard is going to be overpowered in '20.
AOC should stick to what shes good at. Being a dope ho bartender selling fellatio out the back of the bar (alledgedgly). It doesn't pay quite as well, but at least she can keep her dignity and stop embarrassing herself publicly with ridiculous policies.

For a politician, complete attention from the opposite side is success. It worked for Trump, it will work for AOC. It works in other countries too, seen it so many times I lost count. Especially posts like you just made that are skirting past RF rules to attack their person.
Nobody seemed to mind when it comes to making unfounded personal attacks on conservatives by calling them racist. Or making personal attacks on Trump. But I guess if it's a female dem it's unfair eh? What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Slight difference here. AOC and her like (identitarians) are destroying the Dems from the inside. And now the Dems are finally starting to realize and have begun the purge. Trump is not in this same situation. He has not the best of support from the GOP, but I doubt anyone (Republican) will challenge him in 2020. Of which he basically has already won anyways due economic prosperity and the failures of AOC and the new green deal, dems in general, and the p00p show of the Mueller report.

Democracy is about differences of opinions and policies. Your country having only two parties isn't working in that sense, I see the debates and supporters becoming more dysfunctional by the year in your country. It sounds more like everyone is setting their own houses on fire there.
Many countries have many parties for opinions and policies that don't fit your two parties. If I was in the US I'd vote Libertarian so I wouldn't be on either team.
There is more than 2 parties here, but I digress.
What you say is true to some degree. The identitarians are extremely violent, and have burned down whole neighborhoods. But like I say I think finally people are realizing these people are unhinged violent lunatics that need to be removed from power.
