I recently watched a Rocky marathon and Carl had the best lines in Rocky 3. Man he had me laughing. He was probably the star of that movie.

Fun fact: Tony Burton who played Apollo's trainer, and later Rocky's trainer, was an actual boxer before he got into acting.

But he was really great in Lady Sings the Blues.

Lando Calrissian was played by Billy Dee Williams, Carl Weathers was Apollo Creed in the Rocky movies (and Dillon in Predator). Though Weathers was in the SW universe as Greef Karga in The Mandalorian series.

Both great actors, I'll miss Carl. RIP
