Apologist recommendations?

Quick question: do any of you know of a good Christian apologist or apologetics author?

I've heard people recommend folks like C.S. Lewis and William Lane Craig, but I haven't been impressed by what I've seen from them. I'd really like to find someone who makes better arguments for Christianity (or for theism in general).

Church fathers, medieval scholars, modern-day authors... doesn't matter. It's also fine if they approach issues with a viewpoint that's specific to a particular denomination. Preferably, though, it'd be someone whose material I can actually find and read.

Any suggestions?

Side note: Harold Camping is the target of not only non-religious people, but more often than not Christians. He takes the bible so literally and has his explanations mapped out over 50 years of time. So the **** runs very deep. I love his work, it is perhaps the height of human imagination.

Hands down, Harold Camping. all his work is free, and I have not seen an equal to date.

Harold Egbert Camping (born July 19, 1921) is an American radio and television broadcast host teaching an interpretation of Biblical and Christian doctrines.[1] He is also the president of Family Stations, Inc., a California-based ministry with worldwide broadcast facilities, including more than 150 outlets in the United States,[1] as well a Web site.
He is known especially for his distinctive voice and his particular teachings.[1] Camping teaches the Bible as the sole and authoritative word of God; of the imminent end of the world (his most recent prediction has the rapture on May 21 in the year 2011)[2]; of the "end of the church age" (which asserts that churches are no longer the vehicle of God for salvation);[3] and of predestination, according to which God determined before the beginning of the world which individuals are to be saved.

He sounds dreadful

Is he also stuffed with a pimento? :D

Actually, I think I've heard him. There's a show on my local Christian radio station that sounds very much like that description.
I recommend listening to his "Open Forum" program, a live call in program where he takes questions over the air, and answers them according to the bible (his understanding of course). All past shows are on his website for free, but he is live Mon-Fri.

Really awesome stuff, because if any of the bible stuff is true, he hands down takes it SUPER seriously, more so than anyone I have ever heard! If you take a listen, let's discuss :D

Have you guys ever heard of Marcus Borg? Some may not like him because he is very liberal. He wrote a book called: "Meeting Jesus Again For the First Time."
