Are Christian Madonnas based on Ancient Egyptian icons?

I being Kemetic Orthodox find this interesting, of course.

Did those pictures come from Rome and/or Greek Artist? Cultures take art style and stuff from each other all the time and the Romes and Greeks had a lot of contact with the Egyptians so it's not surprising that there are similarities in the art and depictions. Doesn't mean Christians took it(and yes I am aware you did really say that). But if another religion in place of Christian took over you might see the same thing. Hell the Greek/Romans and Egyptians seemed to like to swap gods ^_^

The Egyptians didn't swap gods with anybody. The Macedonians came into Egypt and took the Kemetic beliefs and merged it with Olympian worship and made the Hermetic beliefs.

While these paintings/artifacts/whatever don't seem too artistically similar, it is almost, if not, certain that early Christian artists altered pre-existing pagan art to represent Christian ideas...
