Are Christians Evil?

I conducted a test for my book. So as an atheist I pretended to worship satan, I even learnt some latin for it. Many of the christians i knew respected my "beliefs" and they even complimented it. But i was also surprised when i was physically and verbally attacked by a few. Luckily i was no weak kid and practiced my bouncing skills :jam: . But i also notice that a girl who participated in my study who pretended to worship satan who was also an atheist was also physically abused by a christian. She was being beaten. Christians are not the nice kinda of people you may believe. Of course the testees did not make a complaint to the cops or anyone for the purpose of the test. We also had a so-called spy sit through a special christian meeting through the school. She claims they are finding ways to convert everyone. And surprisingly enough they had a christian rock concert at the school promoting christianity. I was angered. I got a friend to hold up a promotional bit of paper and i ripped it apart with my teeth.:bonk: "Seperation of the state and the church" This was at a public school. I decided to collect video footage of brainwashing at stake. I had someone attend a rock concert at night. They did not claim it was religious of any sort. But near the end they got everyone in groups and started talking about god.

Well this put an end to my day of research and decided just to be a smart-*** for the rest of the night. Oh my, it was fun.

According to my previous research it seems christians are more abusive towards women and I can't stand women bashers. I am sometimes classed as a heartless person but i cant stand violence against women.

Always remember that it's the complainers that speak the loudest. There may be Christians out there who would do such a thing, but I'm sure there are plenty more who would be appalled at hearing that.

coldrock I am sorry that you had such a bad experience but I can assure you that Christians are not evil. Some "Christians" may however behave in a bad way. It is understandable that Christians dissaprove of Satan worship but a good Christian would let it stop at dissaprovement, he or she would never resort to violence. Now you just pretended to be a Satan worshipper but I still put all the blame on them for what they did, they had no right to do what they did to you and your friend, even if you really had been Satanists.

I know that this may be the case but these are the faitheist people i know. They pray to god all the time and they always turn up to the atheist "me and a small crew" vs the Christians "extremely large group of quiet people", and they act like they are god, they know nearly all the bible parts off by heart and are the only people that argue. It seems that the moral deeply involved into a faith a person is the more likely they appear to be violent. People who keep their faith quiet who are christians are extremely nice, do christians believe in the christian extremists and condone their activities or do you believe they are using faith to get away with self fish purposes?

I know I'm an atheist but I still hate dumb people, atheist or not. Sorry I was really annoyed at a debate when an atheists argument was nothing more then "how can god exist if we can't see it?", that was a moment in history where i argued against a fellow atheist. But he was dumb and he should die. Sorry, carry on....

No, the brainwashing wasn't hats, they said it was a rock concert. Then they stopped playing and started talking about jesus and gave everyone activities to do. Everyone left fun fun (the timeline is a bit messed around)

I was angered cause i'm an angry person. And the person who sat through the debate was deciding to stay a christian or atheists but that made up her mind. It was from my childhood tranumas, but thats another story.

Not in a state school. If we wear the wrong coloured socks or hair is done wrong or have more then 2 ear rings and 1 bracelet then your sent home. This is the australian educational system. Freedom of Expression is prohibited.

It was a girl who wanted to learn about it. But she came to me after it and became an atheist.

IF you take any large group of people, whether Christians, Buddhists, Atheists, Vegans, or some other group, you will almost certainly be able to find some members of that group who do evil things.

Anyways, I have to agree with the guy who has the inayusha avatar. Not all Christians
are the same, coldy. You may find some that are on a different scale.

You can have the light believers, who don't pressure others.

You can have the heavily devoted ones such as SOGFPP and still respect others.

Then you can have the crazy mofo ones that stand in airports holding out brochures in airports and preaching like there is no tomorrow. Because if you don't listen to them,
you're going to Hell.

It sounds as if you have an axe to grind against Christians and are just looking for things to make you angry. If I said I was an atheist and went out and beat up anybody who wasn't, would it be fair to say that as an atheist you are from the same mold? Just because someone calls themself a Christian (or atheist), it doesn't mean they're going to act in a prescribed manner.

Since you're advocating violence against someone who's "dumb", is it fair to say that your problem with violence only occurs when it's directed at you or friends?

Christian rock invariably involves prosletyzing and/or an altar call. They look at this as spreading the word. Nobody is forcing you to go....or to stay.

There are Christians and then there are folks who claim to be christians...the difference would be a true Christian would NEVER attack someone ...physically OR verbally. I'm very sad to hear that there are those out there making others think this is what the Christian does...we don't and for those who do that IMPO are NOT christian at all.
