"...only comes from a human perspective..."??? What other perspective has the ability to put thoughts into words? Name one natural entity, other than man, that exists for nothing more than these three things: to eat, to find a place to sleep and not be eaten, and to find a female of the species in heat to produce more of the same. I think you're giving 'nature' waaay too much credit.
That's all we know of, but we just happen to have been the ones who have arrived at where we are. It might have been some other species - plenty of them apparently (that we know of) - and how would some alien species see the life on Earth? I just don't believe that what we describe via our human ability is necessarily any truth - just our truth. Our perspectives on nature are just that - what we as humans see - and it hardly matters if it is science or religions saying so.
I mean, your question was - what would be the point of nature if there were no humans to observe it. Not see how human-centric that is?
