Are Jahovah Witness Christian?

I believe in order to do that (imitate Paul) one would have to become a born-again Christian. Can you say you have done that?

If you mean by " born again" having accepted Christ as my Savior, the answer is yes. All of Jws have done this, but being born again involves much more than that. Paul was not talking about being born again at Ephesians 5:1,2 when he urged Christians to be imitators of God. Rather, he urged them to "go on walking in love, just as the Christ also loved us and gave himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice, a sweet fragrance to God." The context of Paul's words to "become imitators of me, even as I am of Christ" shows he was referring to his concern for others;,"Therefore, whether you are eating or drinking or doing anything else, do all things for God’s glory. Keep from becoming causes for stumbling to Jews as well as Greeks and to the congregation of God, just as I am trying to please all people in all things, not seeking my own advantage, but that of the many, so that they may be saved. Become imitators of me, just as I am of Christ."1 Corinthians 10:31-11:1)
I find that many who claim to be born again are not imitators of God or Christ in displaying genuine love for others, nor in living a godly and righteous life.

Godly AND righteous? What does that mean? A godly life IS a righteous life. Isn't it? Is there a righteous life without God?

Why not do the math?

A righteous life is (equals) a godly life (if your God is Jehovah).
A godly life is (equals) a righteous life (if your lord is Jesus Christ).

The MATH:

A righteous life = a godly life
A godly life = a righteous life.

A godly + righteous life = ?

Can a person live a righteous life without God and why do you so answer?

I want to talk about Genesis 6:5 because it applies to the math I think.

Did you mean to say that? It seems to me that genuine love (God is love), godliness, and righteousness (God is righteous alone) cannot be separated. One comes with the other.

Can I be righteous without God?

Claiming to be born again does not make one Godly or Righteous, that was the point.

You say godly OR righteous. That is similar to saying godly AND righteous. Maybe you can not see that they are the same because it is way, way, way, to obvious. What do you think?

Maybe we should ignore what is obvious. That is what is being taught here I think.

The Jehovah's Witnesses really do preach "come to us for righteousness's sake". Personally I preach, if I preach, "go to Jesus for righteousness's sake."

Then they say we should live a godly life and a righteous life. Isn't that like saying I shall have pizza and pizza for supper?

But maybe you have forgotten this. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Or the fingers type. Luke 6:45 Proverbs 4:23 Matthew 12:35

How does all this hatred directed at Jehovah's Witnesses fit in with being a loving Christian?? Don't you see that as some kind of contradiction. What you don't seem to understand is its God who Judges, not you, and you should leave your judgment to God.
Except there is no command to not judge...

If they believe in Jesus of Nazareth(whether he is divine or not) and the God of Abraham, Isaac & Moses, that's a Christian. Regardless of how much the others want to whine & moan otherwise.
