Are most people critical of New Age?

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Are most people critical of the New Age movement even in cases where other-religion bias doesn't come into it, and even in cases where it isn't confused with spiritualism and spiritualism's cash-grabbing?
Its bunk imo. But its a thang people like to do.

Is this empirical evidence for qi?
No. It's a YouTube video of unknown provenance. I can find YouTube videos alleging perpetual motion without difficulty, too.

What we would need is proper trials, objectively monitored. This has been done, as the Wiki article I cited indicates - without +ve result.

I just tend to think of it as a shallow movement. It take a little bit of this and a little bit of that, and pats itself on the back for being enlightened. I'm not against having a more diverse approach. I just think there is no substitute for depth. And depth takes time to accrue. Time and effort and dedication.

Also, there is nothing really new about new age. It's the same old stuff repackaged to be attractive for the modern lifestyle.
