Are We To Infer That Tom DeLay Has No "Honor?"

Last week, some savvy Time Magazine readers caught House leader Tom DeLay (R-TX) smoking a Cuban cigar in a photo taken in Jerusalem. The problem? DeLay has voiced some strong feelings about people who engage in such behavior. Arguing against loosening sanctions against Cuba last year, DeLay warned that Fidel Castro "will take the money. Every dime that finds its way into Cuba first finds its way into Fidel Castro's blood-thirsty hands…. American consumers will get their fine cigars and their cheap sugar, but at the cost of our national honor." Well, after all, what's national honor compared to a good smoke?

A Cuban cigar is the tip of the iceberg. I haven't the words to fully express my disgust with that political pimp.
