Well, I've lost a lot of hair and shave my head, so I suppose I'm very "clean". I've switched from hair on my head to hair on my face.

I've suffered from hair loss since about 17 or 18 myself, and quickly seemed to accept it, though I do see beard growing as providing some amount of compensation
