I guess some people find that their mental deity puppet can get rather lived in where it just melts into the background.I am now used to God, he no longer amazes or inspires me
He is an established part of my mental furniture
Nothing for me to get excited about

I don't think there is one level of experiencing God. There is endless levels and the chosen intercessors who we cannot even fathom let alone God only know him to the degree he allows. Journeying to God is a never ending journey. The final stage (7th day...) is endless and never fully finished. This is why Quran says he created the earth and heavens in six days then established himself on the throne. He didn't say seven days, because the seventh is never complete.I am now used to God, he no longer amazes or inspires me

Not at all. In fact, despite being in my sixties, I still continue to get hit from time to time with the awe of the universe, and by extension, the awe of the one who created it.I am now used to God, he no longer amazes or inspires me
