No, do you remember how you brought up the topic of logical fallacies. All of his arguments are terrible examples of that.
He claimed to be trying to "refute God". That is a foolish way to approach the topic. One does not try to disprove an idea. One tries to find evidence for one's own idea. Right away that sets up up for strawman arguments. Second he did the typical apologist ploy of ignoring the misses and only counting the hits. By doing so one cannot claim "historical support" for an idea. He shoots down his own arguments with his poor technique.

Now now, lying about others is not allowed here. I started a discussion on how we knew that evolution is correct. I was trying to go over the basics of science with you. Why did you run away from that discussion?

If that works as evidence, I can use Lovecraft's works as evidence as to why the Great Old Ones are real and it is the Cthulhu Mythos that contain the "true facts" of the universe.

I am talking the merits. It sticks to what the Bible provides. Ergo, I can stick to what Lovecraft wrote as evidence the Great Old Ones are real.

I just said it's problem is it sticks to what the Bible provides. If I stick to what Moby Dick says, then Captain Ahab was a real person, complete with all the nautical stuff as evidence as its likely to make a college reader to likely need a dictionary.

And only the scientifically illiterate or dishonest disagree with the theory of evolution. So what? Like it or not it is a scientific fact that you are an ape. The theory of evolution explains the fact of evolution. No creationist can demonstrate the "limits to evolution" that they claim exist.
