Sorry, I uninentionally voted no; I didnt even want to vote.

The Bible was the word of God before "followers" of the bible started twisting the Bible in order to meet their goals.

To say that the Bible is inspired is in my view completely inadequate to set it apart from other books, for I think that many books are inspired. God's inspiration is the mana from heaven which He pours down upon us and without which there would be no life at all. So when I say that the Bible is the word of God, I mean something more than that.

God is the author of the Bible in the same way that He is the creator of the species. He is the master manipulator behind events to accomplish his purpose, using nations and kings and human authors and scribes as His writing instruments. To say that the Bible is the word of God, is to say that it is what He intends and thus that it cannot be improved upon. The Bible is what God chooses to say to us all, written in our best interest to accomplish the best results.

Matthew 13:10-15 makes explains why God does not speak plainly but so that people will understand it in different ways. So that the fleshly minded, unwilling to use their eyes to see beneath appearance to the realities of the world around them will be able to hide from the truth by hearing only the literal story, and those unwilling to open their hearts to feel the love of God will be able to avoid the harm that can come to them from a belief in God.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
I believe that the bible contains the Word of God needed to guide mankind to spiritual truth, and that the bible is a book of spiritual teachings rather than a history or science book.

IMHO the Bible is the inspired Word of God, but once the Word was written down by mankind it suffered to become corrupted by them, made imperfect by their imperfection. The perfect Word, the primordial Word, was the one present at the beginning of time.

John 1-2 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning."

So clearly the Word (or Logos) predates human beings, predates Planet Earth.

The Word that can be written down is not the true Word, because the source of the Bible was wordless divine inspiration. Who agrees? Who disagrees?

The Bible contains does contain some historical content, but it's definitely not a science book.

"As a Christian do you believe the Bible (whether you believe it's translated correctly or not) to be the Word of God?"

i believe in every word of Jehovah, and the true translations. because as Jesus spoke at Matt.7:8,basically asking and seeking, will happen. and dispite what many are taught to believe,Jesus wasn't speaking of material things. he was speaking on a spiritual level. peace

I have to say "no."

I don't like using a title for Christ to describe a book.
