Use any and all pronouns including neo and it/it's
Nope. I was afraid of the dark, which is much scarier because it contains any monster you could ever imagine, in potentially infinite numbers.
This. Due to family watching true crime shows all the time was was also scared of someone attacking me constantly

Only once after staying up late and watching a horror program.

Not so bad until i went to bed, turned off the light and my wardrobe door creaked open.

Boy was i scared, sweating, expecting cold, clawed fingers to close on my throat. Instead the cat jumped on my bed snd meowed at my trembling face.

She had been asleep in the wardrobe, woke up when i closed the door before getting into get. Pushed the door open then came to tell me my bedroom door was closed do she couldn't get out.

I wasn't afraid of supernatural monsters when I was a child because I lived with human ones. It never crossed my mind to be afraid of unseen monsters when I was living in an abusive home. These monsters didn't pale in comparison to the ones I was living with.
