Maybe Noah's wife Naamah knows about the Meena community

Because the flood was local and not global and the flood was in Jalore ancient India

Noah or Vaivaswat Manu

Noah was a descendant of Seth, brother of Cain just as
Vaivaswat Manu was a descendant of Vivaswan, brother of
Indra

Wow @Bharat Jhunjhunwala @GoodAttention I found out that Vaivaswat Manu does have a wife

Vaivasvata Manu's wife was Śraddhā. They had many sons, including:
Yama, Yamī, Aśvinīkumāras, Revanta, Sudyumna, Ikṣvāku, Nṛga, Śaryāti, Diṣṭa, and Dhṛṣṭa

There are certainly similarities if taking into account the flood story in the Hebrew and Sanskrit scriptures.

Except the name Sraddha sounds more like Sara, who was Abraham’s wife. Same as Iksvaku and Isaac.

IMHO, astronomically, we are on the verge leaving pisces and enter γ Pegasi and α Andromedae (in Hindu astronomy - Uttara Bhasdrapada).

Also @Bharat Jhunjhunwala can you tell me more about the Meana community and about this local flood in Jalore ancient India
No. Jhunjhunwala cannot tell me anything more about Meenas. Just like him, I am a Rajasthani and know about Meenas well. They are most probably Iranian migrant tribes who settled in Rajassthan. Floods are a normal occurrence in Rajasthan. They happened this year also. Then the rest of the year goes rainless.

There is no similarity between Sara and Shraddha, either in pronunciation or in meaning. However, everything goes for converted Christians or those who want to promote a silly book written and published by themselves. Jhunjhunwala can make Mandaras of Western Australia into sons of Manu.

@Aupmanyav yes please teach me what you know about the Meena community

Do the Meena community believe they're descendants of Vaivaswat Manu, and if so, what are their thoughts about this past story flood? Do many believe this or only go along about this but not really believe this past story that they'd be told they're descendants from? What my question is, when around them do you get a tone that they believe this or only go along with this past story? As they're located in Jalore, India, yet you showed that the Meena community migrated from Iran. What beliefs are the Meena community now: are they Hindus or Muslims or what? Yet if migration from Iran was about when was it BC or AD, and when migrating, what was the belief in that location in Iran back then and now?

If the floods are a normal occurrence, in Rajasthan, how does the Meena community think about this past story from this flood compared to the recent floods?

How come the Meena tribe considers themselves a community? Do other tribes also consider themselves a community too? What is community?

People believe in many things. It is not necessary that all they believe is true.
For example, Kashmiri brahmins think that they are Saraswatas, i.e., hailing from the the Saraswati river region, but there is no proof for that.
It is the same with Meena community or others - Yadavas from Krishna's clan.
Just like Christians believe that all people are descendants of Adam, Hindus too believe that they are descendants of Manu.
But there has been no biological Adam or biological Eve.
Meenas are not all located only in Jalore but at many places in Rajasthan and in other states of India as well.

"Currently they are present in the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana and the Union Territory of Delhi in India." Meena - Wikipedia

You should check things in Wikipedia and not go by what all trash Jhunjhunwala produces.

Yes, some Meenas may have accepted Islam as well. Clan migrations tribes in India are more than 2,000 years old, i.e., BCE.
Iran at that time were based on Median and Zoroastrian thoughts, but beliefs of migrants go with the majority population, for example, the Aryans adopted the indigenous beliefs.

Desert floods are a peculiar phenomena. They are flash floods, they occur very quickly and disappear just as quickly. This year, there have been serious floods in UAE, Oman and Rajasthan. Below are the Google Search images of desert floods in 2024:

Yeah, most migrating tribes favor 'endogamous' marriages (marriages in the community). A violation of the rule is taken very seriously and may lead to honor killings.

@GoodAttention what are your thoughts about the Meena community in relation to Tamil and either patriarchal matriarchal or a combination society, because could there be a combination of matriarchal patriarchal instead of one or the other?

Yeah, most migrating tribes favor 'endogamous' marriages (marriages in the community). A violation of the rule is taken very seriously and may lead to honor killings.

What is this type of marriage called 'endogamous'? Would that be patriarchal or matriarchal?

If there's an honor killing, what do they kill to whom, 'what God or what to whom?' or no God?, as it's not within the clan? What would honor mean? Could this killing be used as a sacrifice compared to other religious sacrifices, and if not, how come?

Have you ever witness a person getting killed because of this?

@Aupmanyav Yes I can use the word clan; I saw you @Aupmanyav using the word clan; however, are there equally many words to use, such as clan, tribe, and community, or is it more of a grammar situation, or what causes these words? Why so many words that mean group? Can the word group be used? Are there any words that couldn't be used that have the same meaning about tribe?

They speak Dhundri (Marwari) language. All Zamindar Meenas are involved in agriculture and animal husbandry. According to Kumar Suresh Singh's book People of India, Zamindar Meena is a Kshatriya caste among all Meena groups. Zamindar Meena is also Kshatriya equal to Rajputs. They have the status of a clean caste in the local social ritual hierarchy. As found in history, Zamindar Meena has ruled Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Alwar, most of the Zamindar Meena reside in Sawai Madhopur. All Meena kings are Zamindar Meena like Alan Singh Meena, Bunda Meena, Rao Hammir Meena, Bijendra Gunawat and Rajveer Meena or all the prominent kings and chieftains of Meena caste.

@GoodAttention The Meenas speak Dhundri (Marwari) language. I wonder how similar differences there are to the Tamil language.

Endogamous marriages can exist in matriarchal societies also, though it is primarily patriarchal.
The killed could include the bride, groom, or any person from the groom's family. Some societies have strict rules about marriages.
It is not related to religion except in Islam, where marriage outside the religion is not permitted. It relates to the traditions of the tribe or clan.
Community may consist of many tribes and clans, for example that of a village.
Tribe is one people, one tradition, one language, one place of origin.
Clan is really the line of descent. A tribe may have different clans.

What Kumar Suresh Singh writes is biased towards his own group, 'Zamindar' (land holding) Meenas. There are Meenas who do not hold any land.

I wonder if Nilesh Oak realizing leaving Pisces.,
Nilesh Oak is talking about the asterism positions at the time when he imagines Mahabharata war to have taken place.
For me, there is no historical evidence of Mahabharata war itself. I do not take scriptures as proven history.

What is the connection between Meena community and Tamil?

Wow just learned this from AI

@GoodAttention your thoughts about Meenavar? Meen, which means fish in Tamil.

The connection between the Meena community and Tamil lies in the caste known as "Meenavar" in Tamil Nadu, India, which is believed to be related to the Meena community,

"Meena" and "Meenavar" both share the root "meen" which means "fish" in Tamil.

The connection between the Meena community and Tamil lies in the caste known as "Meenavar" in Tamil Nadu, India, which is believed to be related to the Meena community, sharing a similar linguistic and cultural background, particularly in their association with fishing and the symbolism of fish; however, while geographically close, they are distinct communities with their own specific traditions and identities.

Key points about the connection:
  • Name similarity:
"Meena" and "Meenavar" both share the root "meen" which means "fish" in Tamil.

  • Occupation:
Both communities historically have been associated with fishing activities.

  • Ancient connection:
Some historical accounts suggest that the Meena community may have had connections to the ancient Matsya Kingdom, which is believed to have influenced the Pandyan dynasty in Tamil Nadu.

Important distinction:
  • Separate identities: While sharing some similarities, the Meenavar caste in Tamil Nadu is considered a distinct community with its own customs and social structure compared to the Meena community primarily found in Rajasthan.
