1.) Are you Wiccan or just a flat out Witch? I know the two are different, but they often overlap.

2.) Which Celtic Gods do you revere/use for your spell-casting and ritual?

3.) What do you think of Z. Budapest, Silver RavenWolf, and Llewellyn?

45 minutes.....It takes a long time to research some of the answers to some questions.
Maybe she doesn't know about the "watch thread" function....look to the right...it says "watch thread"
I'm really curious about the results of the reseach, and the answers.
Do witches believe in God ???

Hi there. Are you a witch as in occult practitioner? If yes then I will ask my question.
As in magic? Yes.
1.) Are you Wiccan or just a flat out Witch? I know the two are different, but they often overlap.
The terms are neither inclusive or exclusive of each other. I am not a Gardnerian or Alexandrian practitioner but I know that those traditions may have influenced (as well as having been influenced) by the Celtic tradition. A witch simply is someone who uses folk magic. I am both.
2.) Which Celtic Gods do you revere/use for your spell-casting and ritual?
It depends. Cernunnos is the primary god that we invoke. The goddess has changed from time to time. Brigid I suppose would be most common but I have also had workings with The Morrigan and Ceridwen.
3.) What do you think of Z. Budapest, Silver RavenWolf, and Llewellyn?
I feel Budapest is not incorporating the true nature of Wicca or pagan practices as she seems to ignore half of the energies in the world. Her influence has caused some damage if not directly but by the misunderstanding stemmed from her writings.

Silver RavenWolf has almost entirely spawned the group often refereed to as "fluffy bunnies". Don't put much stock into her in terms of accuracy or realism. I won't say much more because I don't want this to sound incredibly negative but no I do not have a high regard for her.

Llewellyn as in the Witta? No I am not a huge fan no.

I'm on and off the computer. I did do some research to make sure I have all my ducks in a row in regards to the authors.

I believe in gods and goddesses.

Have you ever experienced or witnessed anything the mainstream person would call paranormal?

I believe so. Though this isn't exclusive to anything that qualifies me as Wiccan or Witch. I have been on several paranormal investigations and personally assisted a number of people who have "paranormal" problems.

Its somewhat unusual for members, especially new ones, to create a thread in the interview space. What made you decide to do so or what do you hope for it to accomplish?

Was I not supposed too? I thought it would be interesting to see what kind of questions I would get asked and the responses to my answers. I can close the thread (I think) if I wasn't supposed to make one.

Hah... no, you're more than welcome to create a thread here. I just find the choice interesting, as it isn't commonly done and puts one on the spot. I've always been curious why some folks make threads in this area and others don't. It's something that I've resisted doing even though I've been asked to by someone here once. :D

As un-flattering as it may be I think there is a bit of vanity to it. Or at the very least self confidence their their own ability to be interesting. Or perhaps some people just aren't as curious about people's questions.

How did you find out about RF?

Do you know any RF members in real life?
I don't think I know anyone from RF in real life and I had seen it with a google search one time when researching a curse. It was about a week ago someone on another site told me that you lot had a huge community. I don't know what their user name is here or if they are even active.

Did you have a different religion before your current path?

If so, what lead you away from your previous path?
What lead you towards your current path?

Thanks. :)

My father was a irreligious agnostic deist or apatheist. My mother was a conservative Christian from a Christian family. My great-grandmother however was a "Child of the Earth" and worked with folk remedies and had extensive herb gardens. She taught me a lot of things spiritually about nature that seemed very different than the Christian approach. This felt better to me spiritually but I had never been given a name for what it was called since she was more or less kept quite about her beliefs by my Great-grandfather (bit of a patriarchal trap there). I never lost that feeling.

As I grew older I lost the connection to Christianity and found a much stronger one in nature. Eventually I was found by a coven who taught me more and I never looked back.

hey Midnight,
I suppose I confused the difference between phycics and witches in my feeble mind.
I was thinking, or not, that a witch would know when someone was knocking at their door.
Anyway, and with humor in mind, welcome aboard, and bring your own broom !
