Here's an even dozen questions for you. Please feel free to answer any, all, or none of them:

1) Are you really the estranged daughter of a renown European banking family or is that just a rumor that's been going around the forum, and no one knows where it got started?

2) Are there multiple cases of left handedness in your immediate family?

3) Do you enjoy reading up on any of the sciences, and if so, which one(s)?

4) Why did your parents name you Elizabeth?

5) How would you characterize your sense of humor?

6) Who is the wisest person you know of personally, and in what ways are they wise?

7) Artists or scientists? If you had to pick one or the other to hang out with for a year's span, which of them would you pick?

8) What kinds of work are you attracted to? What's your ideal job? And what makes it ideal?

9) Do you have any causes -- political, civic, charitable, or religious -- that you espouse or do work for?

10) If you felt like hopping a freight train, which direction --- North, South, East, West -- would you prefer the train was going in? And why?

11) What is the most likely future for humanity? Say, a hundred or two hundred years from now?

12) How many rubber ducks do you put in the bathtub with you before you feel the number of ducks is "just right"?

I hope the questions aren't too annoying. Just interesting.

What day is it?

It's Saturday here. :)

Hi Elizabeth,

Was wondering what your avatar signifies.

It's called a Khanda, and each bit has a specific meaning. The two swords represent spritual and material, worldly matters. The circle which inside the swords is called a chakkar and representsthe infinite, endless divine, justice (the chakkar being at one time an actual weapon, similar to a throwing star) and humanity. Finally, there is another two-edged sword in the middle, which represents the creative powers of God, one side representing freedom and morality, whilst the other represents divine justice.

Haha nope! Don't know where that one came from!

2) Are there multiple cases of left handedness in your immediate family?
I'm lefty but no-one else in my family is.

3) Do you enjoy reading up on any of the sciences, and if so, which one(s)?
Astronomy/physics nerd calling in here.

4) Why did your parents name you Elizabeth?
I seem to recall being told it was an old family name.

5) How would you characterize your sense of humor?
Silly!

6) Who is the wisest person you know of personally, and in what ways are they wise?

7) Artists or scientists? If you had to pick one or the other to hang out with for a year's span, which of them would you pick?

6- no idea!

7- Artists. I'm a musician myself and whilst I love science deeply, I prefer the arts.

8) What kinds of work are you attracted to? What's your ideal job? And what makes it ideal?
I've nearly always worked in admin, or customer service roles. Ideally I want to run my own shop. That way I'd have the freedom to do as I please.

9) Do you have any causes -- political, civic, charitable, or religious -- that you espouse or do work for?
I used to be involved in a socialist group back in uni and still consider myself a socialist. In terms of work, I'm involved in refugee work here, supporting refugees in claims for asylum and helping in various different ways, as well as working for a local disability group.

10) If you felt like hopping a freight train, which direction --- North, South, East, West -- would you prefer the train was going in? And why?
South...I'm pretty far North as it is!

11) What is the most likely future for humanity? Say, a hundred or two hundred years from now?
In all honesty I think that large sections of humanity will have simply ripped themselves apart over things that don't in all reality matter.

12) How many rubber ducks do you put in the bathtub with you before you feel the number of ducks is "just right"?

I actually own five small rubber ducks. Two of them are actually in the bathtub.

- What kind of chocolate do you prefer?

- Practice!
- Yep, I play Ultimate Frisbee
- Granite!
- White....yummy!

Singh is a man's name! I'd technically be Elizabeth Kaur, but given I have not taken amrit, I have not changed my name to a proper Sikh one.

:D

Out of curiosity I checked 192. There are actually 39 women in the UK called Elizabeth Singh, so not so outlandish a question...
May I ask, are you an English girl, raised a Christian, who married a Sikh and converted to Sikhism?
