Yes, conflict can be exciting but it grows tiresome. Peace and harmony are better, IMO. There can still be plenty of individuality in community.

I meant peace as in "inner peace", etc. I don't want useless fighting in a community, no. But that's my personal view. There's some on the Left Hand Path who actually like war, violence, bloodshed, etc. Those types tend to have social Darwinist/fascist/neo-Nazi leanings, though. That's their prerogative, but I'm opposed to them. Even in the LHP, we don't all get along or view things the same.

I noticed a color change. What shifted your beliefs?

I've just realized that the notion of external deities that intervene in human affairs is irrelevant to my path in life. It was a distraction that wasn't doing anything for me. It was just a bunch of theological wrangling that was leading me nowhere. So I'm the only "deity" in my life and the only one that's proven so far that he can change my life.

It does have the most political intrigue and diversity of locations. I dug the latest film quite a bit even though it was almost the same setup as Pitch Black. I like the whole survival on an alien planet thing.

I actually didn't really like the third movie. It was lame and seemed like a second-rate knockoff of Pitch Black. They need to make a direct sequel to Chronicles.

Yeah, I guess I was being "stimulated" at the time, so it probably wasn't as cool as I perceived it to be.

I wonder if action films make your IQ momentarily drop. Lol.

Possibly. Well, I did go into it with lower expectations, hence the need to get 'stimulated' beforehand. Also, I can be tricked by eye candy. I dig creature designs, but prefer animatronics. I miss the golden age of Henson.

Well, not being sober would only add to the effect. Lol.

I miss animatronics, too. :( I know one genre CGI doesn't belong in is horror.
