Jihad Against Terrorism
Assalamualaikum.
I used to comment here quite often a few years ago. Then I left due to personal reasons but am back now. Over time my conviction in my beliefs has only increased.
I belong to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. We believe that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian (1835 - 1908) was the fulfillment of latter day reformer who was promised by the major religions of the world as Promised Messiah Jesus, Imam Mahdi, Kalki, Maitreya Buddha, etc.
The community believes in One God and that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is His Messenger. That he is the Seal of all Prophets in that Prophethood may only be attained by his obedience. So we believe Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was such a subservient, non-law-bearing, Prophet within Islam.
The primary purpose of the community is reformation of mankind. That is, to re-establish the lost connection of human beings with a live answering God and to rekindle kinship between humans.
We believe in a God Who answers prayers and blesses His servants with extraordinary signs and increases their conviction. We believe God still does this as He did before. That He still communicates as He did before. That He is a living God.
We believe Islam to be the champion of religions and no religion even comes close.
Finally we categorically reject all forms of terrorism and believe physical fighting for the cause of Islam is not applicable in this day and age.
