Okay, I'm Catholic, so I'm not supposed to do this but....
Sun square Moon in fixed signs...stamina, objectivity, interest in other people, detachment...heavy air (intellect) and a Western chart...could mean a career overseas (Aquarian Sun in 9th),...early childhood problems (Saturn conjunct Jupiter in the 4th, both rx), well-aspected Pluto in the 5th, self-motivated change...Uranus in an anaretic degree...sudden change will be the major theme of your life...

If you truly want a meaningful interpretation I would encourage you to seek out a reputable astrologer who has the authority of a professional work ethic behind him. That's no guarantee you won't get shafted, but you'd have some better insights than could be offered on an Internet forum.ChrisP said:

The Ascendant is a "point" in astrology, the first degree of the first House. There is some value in exploring things that interest you; however, giving advice and divination is another matter entirely. I would much rather trust someone who has a professional work ethic than putting things together myself. That's kind of like giving me a stick and a hammer and asking me to build a bridge over a raging river.

It is one of the symbols on your chart; one of the symbols on many people's charts; and something symbolized that can be represented in just about everybody (humanity, in general). That the symbol for this thing appears on the natal chart cast for your birth doesn't mean that it is a characteristic particular of you. What it does mean is that this particular characteristic will have some meaning for you in the context of astrology.
