Y'all do know how the first shuttle came to named "Enterprise" do you not? And that was in the face of the fact that all the shuttles were supposed to be named for famous research vessels.

Hi Sapien, yes I do know the history of the shuttles and the history of the "Enterprise" shuttle, used for a drop test. Our chief engineer worked on all the shuttles and we have others tht were in the shuttle program. The EIS project is a tribute to all ships bearing the name going back to 1775. I have some great pictures of the shuttles, and great info on the shuttle program.

Don't know if you guys have seen this, a ship by Mark Rademaker working with NASA on hypothetical warp drive. 1600 hours to render it, I believe.

We are working with people that have education projects going on up there or in the works as well as the 3-d printer on station now and hopefully later in the year we will be asking Scott Kelly some questions while he is up there. Others are involved in numerous ways with the station and the crew from NASA. We might also be working at sometime with CASIS, but that is in the works, not a done deal.

CASIS Welcomes You to the International Space Station U.S. National Laboratory

Also the NSS secured the vote back in the day to put it up there, they were one vote short and the NSS secure the vote for the US to move forward on it.

We hope to be flying somewhere around 150 to 200 miles up and the station is at 250. Of course don't want to even run any risk of hitting it. Hopefully they might be able to take a picture of our ship though. ;)

The station has about 9 more years up there and there is talk about what to do about it.

This is great, Shawn, these sort of activities are truly inspirational. Thanks for sharing them with us.
