"Atheist can't be an Anti-theist & Anti-theist can't be an atheist"?

It is often quote that getting atheists to agree is "Like trying to heard cats"
The only thing all atheists have in common is that they do NOT believe in a god or gods.

"Atheist can't be an Anti-theist & Anti-theist can't be an atheist"?

An atheist disbelieves in god/s. Perhaps, if they believe god beliefs are false, they might also believe they are harmful. If they believe they are harmful and thus are hostile to such beliefs, then they become an antitheist as well as an atheist.

In this way, atheism thus often leads to antitheism, but there is no necessary connection between the two philosophical positions so someone can be one, both or neither.

Perhaps they might also believe they are useful or not that relevant and thus not become antitheists.

_____________
Is Atheism science?
Isn’t Atheism a world view without reasons and arguments?
Atheism people have a belief "God does not exist "
With new observations comes a new belief
It is very natural to believe

What is your hangup with atheism?

It is estimated that there are over 43,000 denominations and at least 50,000 sects within those denominations. Perhaps many more, and the number is growing daily.

Atheists can never beat 34000, every single atheist is an individual but they have only one thing in common with others atheists, they have a disbelief in the existence of God or gods.

What does being "anti-theist" mean? Why would someone be against the concept of the existence of God/gods? Why would someone be against those who propose that God/gods exist?

I can see being against some religious definitions and depictions of God, especially as when they are being pushed on everyone else, or used to condemn and oppress people, but that not the action of "theism". Nor even of "theists". It's the action of specific religious groups. They may not even necessarily be theists, but only using theism as a justification.

Antitheists are those folks who think religions or theisms are harmful. There are even theistic antitheists.
Theism is just a philosophical proposition. I don't see how this can be harmful to anyone. Especially when it can be rejected for any reason, or no reason at all, as one pleases. I think what people are objecting to is not theism, itself, but the religious interpretations of the theism and human behaviors predicated on them.

So what you're really talking about being anti-religion and anti- religious theology. Not being anti-theism.
