رسول الآلهة
This is one of hundreds of prayers I have in my collection. A lot are centered at Athena/Minerva but I have plenty more of other deities. I thought I would share some of them. I have cleaned them up a bit because I made a habit of praying from the heart and not from the head.
Pallas Athena, the aeon of divine insight.
Blessed are they who comes before you
with humiliation and turmoil in their souls.
Such are the people who need you the most.
They have faced the abysmal doubts of this life
and have found its futility.
They now know what the greatest of heroes know.
We are but shadows and dust on this world.
Never living long enough to witness too much
but never living short enough to witness nothing.
Chronos has bestowed us with time.
Time to gaze at our lifes
Time to adore your creations.
But above all else, time to worship you.
To praise you is to speak words of wisdom.
Let no man go about teaching wisdom
unless he kneels at your throne.
If surrender is given unto your holiness
Than wisdom itself is bestowed upon the surrendered.
None is wiser than you.
Let us not profess otherwise.
Sacred is all that encircles your throne.
The stars in the heavens crown your head.
The vastness of this world shrouds your body.
And the power of mankind covers your feet.
For we are but souls that have not ascended higher.
Sacred is your name.
Let it not be spoken of but in reverence.
Lest we face our life without your blessing.
