I think this is how it often is, but a person can have a deep love for another person, I think, that they'd like to be romantic with, know it will never come to that, and... still think "what can I do today that will make their life a little nicer".IMHO, "romantic love" is simply infatuation, what we call chemistry. It's when an attraction hijacks normal thought, obsesses about the person, and idealizes them. It makes for wonderful movies, but in real life it never lasts. To have an abiding love, a person must nurture it by caring for the other. Love is waking up in the morning and thinking, "What can I do today that will make their life a little nicer."

Perhaps it would damage their family, the other person's family, or the person simply isn't receptive. To still ponder on how they can make the person's life better qualifies as love to me. And it still, I'm sure, hurts.
i'm not changing my mind but the service to self type, the dualist will not accept. like it or not the veiling of the unconscious allows for free will even to its own detriment and delusion.I am quoted you. If you want to change your mind, I'm listening:
Is this ^^ true or false?

their both fruits, they're both grown on a tree, they both require temperate climates..................they have more in common than notWhat you don't understand is that you are talking apples and I'm talking about oranges. Until you accept that I mean something quite different than you when I say "love," I'm going to continue coming across to you as "not seeing the whole picture."

the contradiction is in the illusion. focus on action ignore shapes, forms, ojbects.Good. And thank you.
So what? You still contradicted yourself. But that was yesterday. Now is more important. Good Morning, love. How are you?
Oh puhleeze. An apple is not an orange. But if you really want to needlessly pick, I'll say that you are talking cumquats and I am talking aardvarks. Happy now?their both fruits, they're both grown on a tree, they both require temperate climates..................they have more in common than not
appearances are deceiving. the truth is in the action and not the formOh puhleeze. An apple is not an orange. But if you really want to needlessly pick, I'll say that you are talking cumquats and I am talking aardvarks. Happy now?
The fear in/or of love and wrath is the beginning of understanding. Proverbial addition of wrath and love defining the nature of (insert origin here) per Isaiah 45. Fierce it is or can be and caution (fear) is more understandable than having none.the fear of love is the beginning of light? understanding? seeing?
