I saw that a while back this year. I have a friend studying to be a minister right now and he is in his 3rd year I believe at a seminary school out of state. He is really into rap and hip-hop and he once told me that music is a great way to spread the good word and that the culture that listens to hip hop is both younger and more prone to seperation from Jesus. As such he said that there was a small and unconventional movement within the Chrisitian community to tap into that and use hip as the medium.....aka Chrisitian hip-hop.

It is interesting to see that develop as a footnote because just as Christianty adopted some pagan holidays to recruit outside of their religion in yesteryear they are some apologetics who are moving outside the tradional chior and organ music today to gain membership.
