Baltimore bridge collapse - mass casualties

A commitment to spend federal
money could very well be sincere.
Dude, Biden is ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS sincere when he says he wants to spend federal money. Hence the accumulation of a trillion more debt added every 100 days now.
If he were to claim to want to reduce spending, then I question his sincerity.
Same goes for when he claims to want to fix the border.

So nbc news is an unreliable source?
Not according to the media chart that has been posted. If you aren’t informed on what reputable media is thdn you are susceptible to being duped. Conmen are successful because there are poorly informed suckers. That includes anyone still willing to vote for Trump after all he has done.

Odd that you don’t point to lower tax revenue due to the 2017 tax cuts that helped the wealthy at 83%. Trump is talking about more tax cuts which would sink us deeper in debt. You know Trump, the King of Debt.

To be fair, both Trump's and Biden's excessive deficit was due to something beyond the control of either of them. The pandemic. Now Trump never had a chance to deal with the debt issue from that and Biden and his crew appear to have handled it rather well. We had less inflation than other first world countries.

And yet it's under Biden, not Trump, that the national debt is rising by a trillion every 100 days. That's the fastest rate of debt accumulation (and government over-spending) in American history. He needs to deal with that. Not repeatedly sending billions to Iran would be a good start.

Yet when Leader McCarthy tried to offer budget cuts to agree to a debt ceiling increase the republicans could barely find anything. No doubt they like to complain about spending but can’t find much to cut that won’t cost them come election day. Trump certainly offered no means to cut spending and pay down debt. Quite the contrary. But any negative words for him? Of course not. Conservatives love to blindly complain and blame, and offer no solutions at all.

How about it champ, how would you reconcile the budget? Realistically.

It would have been just as easy for you to Google it yourself.

You are letting yourself get fooled by stories that ae a bit biased. The rate of growth of deficit was largest under Trump during the pandemic. It was a bit lower Biden's first year. And you are also forgetting that some of Biden's debt is actually Trump's debt. The tax policy that Trump put through cause him to raise the deficit even more before Covid and we still have that lower rate of taxation from Trump that does raise the debt. If you look at a less biased source you can see that the debt of Trump in 2020 was greater than that of Biden in 2021 and both of those are larger than what we see today.

The economy is complex and if you look at just one issue you can easily be misled. Looking at more key issues like unemployment the two are almost equal. We do not want to ignore the deficit, but it is not the number one issue right now.

Every 100 days.
That's not during Trump's term. It's now.
And now you think CNBC is biased? Pfffft.
