Hello to all,

I am Trinitarian and I support baptism calling on the name of Jesus.
The test of the pudding is in the eating.
It must be done correctly for the LORD to respond.
There is a little detail that must be done.
Calling on the name of the LORD is an Israelite custom
to get his attention and his response.

Christ = the LORD = the Son of GOD = the Mighty God =the God of the nation of Israel.

He is now the HEAD of the Church.

His Father is some one else.
I am willing to share the infomation with anyone.
Jesus responds immediately.

The manifold, unspeakable Grace is experienced ongoing.

When the truth was first preached by the Apostles
it caused death to them and their followers.
We are back there.
We will see which way the LORD Jesus directs.
The truth and the people will survive
because it is the will of the Father, the Highest.

Keep up the >> unbiased inquiry. It is what Jesus, our HEAD, wants from us.
Question and complain to Jesus and the Father if you have to. That is okay.
Our interest for our self and all others and our involvement
are observed and heard.
Our willingness and action gets a personal response.
Please try and put things together
BUT working without the Spirit is not meant to be.
I am not being unwilling but you must have some smile stimulating,
confidence building experiences yourself.
Use the unbiased reasoning that Jesus, our creator,
already gave to everyone.

The Father must be revealed:

John.8 …Jesus:
[17] It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
[18] I (the incarnated Mighty God of Israel) am one who bear witness of
about myself and the Father who sent me bears witness of me.
[19] Then they said to him:

Jesus (their God) answered:

neither know me (the incarnated God of Israel), nor my Father.
If you had known me >> (the ONE God of Israel)

The reason that we go to Jesus and call on Jesus, the Mighty God,
is because Our Father has given us to Jesus and has given Jesus to us.
This is the same arrangement that existed with the nation of Israel
under the O.T. but now with us.

GOD has directed us to him and if we have learnt from the past people
then we go to him and not rebel.
It may not be apparent but Jesus is a good person.
What kind of person gives his life to help others?
If he is good then his Father, who is of the same image, is also good.

The Father has done his good pleasure that is also good for us:

Pss.18
[43] You (Father) have delivered me (Jesus the God of Israel)
from the strivings (rebellion) of the people (of the nation of Israel)
and you (Father) have made me
the HEAD of the heathen/ Gentiles >> (who accept)
A people/ the Gentiles,
whom I >> (the previously single and dedicated God of Israel)
have not (previously) known
shall serve/ obey me >> (through the Apostles Teachings)
[44] As soon as, (immediately when), they/ the Gentiles
hear of/ about me >> (through the Apostles)
they shall (come to me and) obey me
The (previous) strangers (to the God of Israel)
shall submit themselves to me >> (Jesus the God of Israel)

AFTER paying our ransom,
Jesus sent the Apostles to preach the Good News about good Gifts,
from GOD, through him, the previous God of the nation of Israel.
We must hear their account, and obey, like the first Gentile Christians did.
Go past the Gospels to the Acts and the Epistles.
Shake hand with Jesus and receive the priceless Gift ,
after the EXACT baptism method = orderliness and respectfulness.
Edification from your Savior, through the Spirit,
will personally clarify all things to you, as you study.

I understand how things were done during the Apostles’ preaching.
I understand that the Holy Spirit leads one to acceptance of the Apostles’ Teachings
and to obey them.
As the Bible says: ‘His work is perfect.’
Our hearing may not be to perfect.

[2] Elect according to the foreknowledge of GOD the Father,
(1) through sanctification (to faith in Jesus), of/ by the Spirit,

One person cannot force another to respond from the heart.
We can only care and share the truth and encourage each other.
Honesty is the basic and necessary ingredient in the person.
A person must admit failure to live to please GOD.
Then the need for a Savior is recognized.

I’m just trying to be helpful here:

Jesus = the Almighty.
His Father is = Lord GOD Almighty.

The Book of Revelation is the clearest reference.

Abraham dealt with both of them.
Jesus spoke to him as ‘the Word.’

GOD conceals and reveals.

His children go with the program.

GOD is gathering and prospering those who come to him, through his Arm, Jesus Christ.

The attention now is on the Grace from GOD and Christ, through Christ.

Having genuine faith in Christ without knowing who he is,
is close to impossible.
