Baptist Churches UK?

I have attended a Baptist Church a few times lately and quite liked it. I can find little information on what Baptists actually believe. For instance, I went to this Sunday's service and there was no mention of lent... do they observe lent? What is the Baptist stance on things such as homosexuality, marriage and so on?

I had already done a thorough Google search and had scoured that site. It seems that Baptists are fairly diverse in their views. I was hoping to have some comment with their own or their Church's views.
